About Me

Curiosity is my path queerly forward — the ground beneath me and the sky surrounding me. I believe, as my father taught me, that curiosity is love: love of the unknown.

I come to this work as a queer and trans person who knows what it is to live inside scripts that were never written for you. I know the weight of White Supremacist Colonial Patriarchy, of family systems that operated from fear, of religious trauma, of trying to locate yourself inside structures that were designed to make you disappear. I also know what it feels like to begin, slowly, to come home to yourself. That homecoming is what I want to help facilitate in you.

In our work together, I hold a compassionate, unhurried presence. I cultivate a gentle space to look at the stories that are here — from childhood, from relationship, from culture, from past hurt — and are ready to be given voice. With voice comes permission: to transform, to release, or simply to finally be seen. I work often in the somatic realm, which opens into the psycho-spiritual. I believe that slowing down, arriving into the present moment, and meeting yourself in your body with curiosity is the opening to aliveness. This is radical work.

I do this work to help you see your own seeing. To come into deeper, more loving contact with yourself. To live, more often than not, from love rather than from fear.

I am here because I believe this work is inseparable from collective liberation. adrienne maree brown writes in Emergent Strategy that "how we are at the small scale is how we are at the large scale." If we want to end systemic oppression, white supremacy, and extraction, we begin by witnessing ourselves — in relationship to ourselves, and to our closest relations. I will encourage you not to stop there.

I am genuinely excited to embark on this adventure with you — in the spirit of play, in full acknowledgment of the very real world we are doing this inside of.

Fees

I offer telehealth therapy for individuals, dyads, and all relationship constellations.

— 50-minute session: $150 — 75-minute session: $225

Sliding Scale I am currently an LPCC working under the clinical supervision of Joy Lanzano, LPC, at New Growth Psychotherapy. I offer a limited number of sliding scale slots for BIPOC clients, trans and nonbinary folks, and others navigating financial hardship. Please reach out — access matters to me.

Insurance I accept the following plans: Anthem, Cigna & Evernorth, Colorado Access, Health First Colorado, Medicaid, Rocky Mountain Health Plans, and United Medical Resources (UMR). I also work with out-of-network plans and can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement.
